For the Engagement shoot, we decided to work around sunset, with a little help from my portable studio lighting and of course “le Mist” as my good friend, Christina from Vancouver describes it..I love the effects. I have never photographed around this area before, it was a nice change for something entirely new. It’s always fun to be a little bit of a tourist in our own city. Why not? I can’t wait to discover another part of the city behind the lens.
I met Meehye a couple of years ago, she came to see me at a 1 or 2 of the bridal shows. I even have a random photo that someone took of us, while she was checking out my work. I met with Daniel a few months ago, and while chatting about the wedding, I learned that he has a really tight knit group of guy friends that get together and cook. Wow, gotta love that, that’s a photo story right there! To say the least, I can tell that this couple have a great support system of friends and family around them, they are very likeable, and fun.
Meehye and Daniel are getting married in a few short weeks at the Hyatt downtown, where they will entertain approx 400 guests, maybe more. While we were walking to our photo shoot, Meehye mailed a few more invitations, we joked about how only one person responded so far…and it was her bridesmaid! We laughed, because we know this wedding is going to be one spectacular affair not to miss.
We are very much looking forward to documenting their very special wedding day,
