I'm Christina Esteban. Photographer, founder, and creative entrepreneur behind CEP Studio, L'Origine Nord, and LAOUTS.
For more than twenty years, photography has been at the centre of my work — documenting luxury brands, corporate events, and the people inside them with an editorial eye rooted in emotion, atmosphere, and detail. CEP Studio became known for imagery that feels elevated, timeless, and deeply human.
That vision eventually expanded beyond photography. I built L'Origine Nord from the ground up in the Laurentians near Mont-Tremblant — a four-season luxury retreat designed as a place for people from around the world to slow down and reconnect.
After years of photographing thousands of events, I saw a problem: everyone is drowning in photos that never get organized, printed, or turned into anything lasting. That became the foundation for LAOUTS — a creative platform that intelligently sorts, edits, and lays out overwhelming photo libraries into beautifully designed albums. Launching May 2026.
Whether I'm photographing a luxury event, building immersive spaces, or developing creative technology, the goal remains the same:
Creating experiences that preserve emotion, atmosphere, and the stories people never want to lose.
One to two photographers, staffed to the size and shape of your guest list. We listen to the mandate. We deploy for it.
If the press release needs to go out tonight, we deliver tonight. Otherwise, next-day delivery, guaranteed.
Branded, shareable, password-protected. Your guests find their own moments and download in one click.
Right after the event, on our own software. Coffee-table grade, archival paper. laouts.com →
Colour correction and horizon-straightening are standard. Face retouching is available on request, billed separately.
We listen to who your key players are. Keynote speakers, principals, VIPs. Coverage built around them with variety, not three of the same frame.
We understand deadlines and respect them. We understand light. We understand capturing a moment. We are professional. We care a lot.
Intimate boardroom dinners. Twelve-seat tastings. Speaker introductions to a single table. The image deserves the same discipline a thousand-guest gala gets — light, eyes, mood, brand. We read the room, work quietly, and bring back the cover shot the night was always going to need.
Twenty years of staring down the same problem: the moment that doesn't repeat. So we built a system where preparation is the whole job, and the shoot itself is just execution.
One to two photographers, right-sized to the guest list. Same-night delivery for press release. Otherwise next-day, guaranteed. Every frame colour-corrected, every horizon straight.
Deadlines are a fact, not a feature. Light is a craft. Capturing a moment is the whole job. Everything else — the colour pass, the horizon line, the way a guest sees themselves the next morning — is what care looks like at this end of the business.

Cobblestone, river light, twenty minutes from the airport, booked internationally. The studio sits where the city's best events do — and we know every venue, every loading dock, every back of house.
When you're booking corporate event photography in Montréal — a conference at the Palais des congrès, a product launch, an AGM, an awards night, a brand activation, an executive portrait session — you only get one chance to get it right. CEP Studio is based in the Old Port of Montréal, right next door to the Palais des congrès, and has been Montréal's most trusted corporate event photographer for more than twenty years.
Our studio sits in the heart of the Old Port of Montréal — a five-minute walk from the Palais des congrès, the Convention Hall, the Centre Sheraton, and most of the major downtown conference hotels. Geography matters in corporate event work: when you book a photographer based in the suburbs or downtown core, they show up, leave, and forget the venue. When you book CEP Studio, we know the room better than the production crew does.
Over twenty years, we've covered hundreds of conferences at the Palais des congrès — ICAO's 42nd Assembly, the Electrify Society Summit, international AI conferences, federal trade shows, corporate AGMs, brand activations, and industry awards nights. We know every loading dock, every back-of-house corridor, every photography-friendly angle in the building. We know which rooms have the worst lighting and which have the best. We know which press exits won't disrupt the keynote. When a conference photographer arrives blind, they spend the first hour figuring all that out. We start shooting at the first cup of coffee.
Corporate event photography is the only part of your event budget that keeps working after the event ends. The catering disappears the same night. The AV team packs up. The flowers wilt. But the photographs — the ones that go into your annual report, your LinkedIn, your investor deck, your next sponsorship pitch, your year-end newsletter — those keep generating returns for the next five years.
A great corporate photographer understands who matters in the room (the CEO, the keynote, the board chair, the visiting principal), what the press release needs (a hero portrait, a brand activation crowd shot, a cake-cutting moment, a product reveal), and how fast you need it. A press release tonight? Same-night delivery. Internal newsletter Monday morning? Next-day delivery, guaranteed.
In twenty years of shooting corporate events in Montréal — conferences at the Palais des congrès, AGMs at the Fairmont, plenaries at Le Westin and Le Bonaventure, brand activations during Grand Prix weekend — we've watched dozens of well-meaning studios attempt the corporate market and quietly retreat. Here's what they get wrong, and what we've built our practice around:
Our process is built for repeatable excellence — the kind that lets a brand manager hire us once and never have to micromanage. A typical engagement:
Corporate conferences and international summits are the backbone of our practice. Multi-day conferences at the Palais des congrès. Single-day AGMs at the Fairmont. Industry trade shows at Place Bonaventure. Federal symposiums at the Convention Hall. Closed-door executive offsites at Le Westin. Whatever the format, we know how to cover it.
A typical conference engagement includes: keynote speakers on stage, panel discussions, breakout sessions, networking receptions, sponsor activation walls, lanyard registration tables, executive meet-and-greets, audience reaction shots, the obligatory CEO welcome address, the cake-cutting at the closing dinner, and individual portrait sessions for keynote bios and press releases. We arrive before the first cup of coffee and stay until the last drink. By midnight, your press selects are in your inbox.
CEP Studio is based in the Old Port of Montréal — easily accessible from downtown, the major hotels, the Palais des congrès, and Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL). We're booked regularly for events in Montréal, Quebec City, Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, and internationally when our clients travel for off-site retreats and brand activations.
For more than twenty years, we've delivered tens of thousands of event photos to clients. Along the way we noticed the same pattern: most clients never do anything with them. They sit in a folder. They never become the annual report, the boardroom book, the founder's keepsake.
LAOUTS is the platform our founder, Christina Esteban, built to fix that. It's a creative engine that intelligently sorts, edits, and lays out overwhelming photo libraries — separating blurry shots from sharp ones, removing duplicates, identifying the strongest keepers — and then transforms the selected images into beautifully designed albums using a custom-built engine that calculates aesthetic photo and text placements page by page.
LAOUTS launches publicly in May 2026 at laouts.com. Every CEP Studio engagement includes the option to deliver your event as a designed LAOUTS book — coffee-table grade, archival paper, ready for the boardroom or the executive shelf.
